Service Description: Electoral district boundaries defined by the Nova Scotia House of Assembly, November 28, 2002, with the enactment of Chapter 34 of the Acts of 2002, An Act to Amend Chapter 1 (1992 Supplement) of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the House of Assembly Act. Pursuant to Section 5A of the House of Assembly Act, boundaries amended May 20, 2004 with the enactment of Chapter 13 of the Acts of 2004, An Act to Amend Chapter 1 (1992 Supplement) of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the House of Assembly Act. Name of Halifax Citadel was changed to Halifax Citadel-Sable Island by Chapter 17 of the Acts of 2008 amending the House of Assembly Act. Name of Bedford was changed to Bedford-Birch Cove by Chapter 18 of the Acts of 2008 amending the House of Assembly Act.
